Hygge (pronounced “hou-ga”) is the Danish word meaning comfort, friendliness, simplicity and well-being. This “hygge” that we feel wrapped in a blanket when it’s snowing outside, when you chat with friends around the fireplace, when you enjoy a good meal with the family with the mountain as a backdrop.

Marisa and Jean-François wanted to breathe this “Hygge” spirit which is for them an art of living in this chalet of wood and stones of Rioumajou, by making it pass from a building of the 60s to a luxury chalet with a guideline: comfort made simple.

State-of-the-art materials, new technologies (home automation, demanding sound and thermal insulation), high-end equipment and refined decoration choices have given a “youthful touch” to this magnificent residence, have made this chalet more “hyggeligt” than ever.

Come and enjoy a relaxing session in the jacuzzi / spa after a long day of skiing, a moment of recovery in the sauna after a nice hike or a snowshoe walk, a barbecue evening / aperitif around the BBQ of the outdoor kitchen or simply let yourself be amazed by a fireplace or stove fire.
